ep01 | Introducing the Project

We are excited to bring you episode one of our new series, 10x3.

We introduce you to the tiny 30m2 block of land in Fitzroy North, how Sandi found it and what might come of it.

ep02 | ANALYSING the SITE

We check-in with Sandi on her 30sqm site where there is a lot happening! There is an update regarding the sewer line, surveyors are taking measurements and Sandi gives us a bit of a site analysis.

ep03 | JACK CHEN’S TINY TYPE STREET APARTMENT TOUR

Jack Chen, architect and Director of Tsai Design, renovated his own tiny 33m2 apartment. Inspired by some of the ideas she saw in photos and other videos, Sandi wanted to experience the tiny apartment for herself, and ask Jack a few burning questions of her own.

ep04 | What's Going on With the 10x3 Project?

It's been quite some time since we last heard from Sandi and Tim about their tiny home project, so this video is just a quick update video, to check-in during Stage 4 Lockdown restrictions. We're hoping to get back into the flow of things and bring you regular updates including a video where architect Sandi and builder Tim answer your questions about the project.

ep05 | Architect Reveals the Design for Her Own Tiny Home

Australian architect Sandi Kuzman bought a 30m2 block of land with the vision to design and build a tiny home. However, her design is far from a typical tiny home, with a home that sinks into the ground and soars up to the sky, and comes in at under 65m2.

Sandi is fitting in a flexible living area that can accommodate movie watching, large dinner parties, home office and more. On the most upper-level is the bedroom, with a big window to capture the treetop views of the nearby gumtree. The design also features two walls of glass, as well as skylights, to bring in as much natural light as possible.
