You acknowledge that the fees we charge reflect the personal service and attention to detail you’ll experience when you work with us. You want your project in capable hands, your needs to be understood, your opinion to be heard, your budget and time frames to be respected. These things are important, but we know you also want more.
You want to live in a house that uniquely reflects you. You want to enjoy the design process (let’s face it, it can take as long as the build). And you also want to make sure this building you’re creating is doing something good for the environment with energy efficient design and high quality local materials. You’ve researched, you’ve found us, and you like what you see!
Now, here’s a bit about us…..
Kuzman Architecture was established by Sandi Kuzman in 2016 with the desire to build a creative, skilful, and relaxed studio environment for our team, our clients and our collective ideas to thrive. With over 25 years of experience in renowned national and international architectural practices, Sandi brings a diverse range of experience in both residential and community realm projects. Armed with extensive experience in all aspects of design, documentation and construction, our small studio can pack a big punch.
Kuzman Architecture aims to craft unique and engaging spaces that are a true reflection of the people who inhabit them. As a studio we believe that good architecture should not only be a meaningful response to a functional brief, but it should also be joyous, delightful and beautiful. With an appreciation for the crafted use of raw materials and pure forms we seek to create architecture that is contemporary, bold and enduring.
With attention to detail at the heart of what we do we only take a limited number of projects on each year. If you would like to create, build and experience with us - we would love to hear from you.

Sandi Kuzman
Director / Lead Architect
B.Arch, AD Civil Engineering
Prior to starting her own studio in 2016 Sandi worked for renowned national and international architecture studios such as Riddel Architecture (Brisbane), RHWL (Berlin) and FJMT (Melbourne).
Sandi has a diverse architectural background in high-end residential, heritage and public realm projects. She was a major contributor to benchmark urban projects, such as the City Square Library and Rocks Riverside Park in Brisbane, the Faculty of Islamic Studies in Qatar, and the Ballarat District Nursing and Healthcare Development in Victoria.
As the director of Kuzman Architecture Sandi specialises in crafted forever homes and small to medium sized community projects.
Anna Black
Architect
B.Arch, MArch
Anna Black received her Masters of Architecture from Monash University in 2015. Since graduating Anna has worked across both architecture and landscape disciplines. As a result Anna has developed a design approach that considers both the urban and human scale and views both built form and landscape elements in equal measure.
With a collaborative approach and exceptional skills in graphics and visual communication Anna has been a highly valued team member at Kuzman Architecture for over 5 years.
Deb McInerney
Office Administrator
B.AS Quantity Surveying
Deb has a background in Quantity Surveying, making her not only a highly efficient and organised office administrator but also knowledgable about the construction industry. Deb makes sure the office runs smoothly so the architects can get on with what they do best.
David De Boos
Graduate of Architecture
B.Arch, MArch
David De Boos graduated from the Architecture at University of Technology Sydney in 2016. Since graduating David has had experience in both large to small scale architectural studios working on a variety of public and commercial projects in Sydney and abroad.
After living and working in London for a period David moved to Melbourne in 2022 to become part of the team at Kuzman Architecture. David has exceptional skills in CAD systems and project management and has been a valuable addition to the kA studio.
